A senior care provider in Thirsk is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide personalized care, lead a team, and ensure high standards of care for residents. The role includes planning care, assisting in daily activities, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have senior care experience and a relevant qualification. Plan and implement care to give residents security, dignity and independence. Get to know residents and families to deliver truly personalised care plans. Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain high standards of care and influence the team positively. Demonstrate kindness in all interactions, including assisting with mobility devices, supporting end-of-life meals, and communicating with families. With the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, provide physical and mental stimulation through activities and administer medication. Maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships. Ensure person-centred care planning; support dementia care and record-keeping best practices.
