Job summary

Bupa Collingwood Grange Care Home in Camberley is hiring a Senior Care Assistant to lead a care team and support clinical duties. You will work closely with the nurse to deliver medication administration, care plan reviews, and accurate record keeping while maintaining high standards of person-centred care.

You will drive a team of Care Assistants, oversee shift handovers, and help train new staff. Building trust with residents, families and external health professionals is essential to the role.

Qualifications

  • NVQ3 in care or working towards it.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day unit operations and supervise Care Assistants.
  • Support nurse in clinical duties: observe, administer meds, review care plans, record keeping.
  • Lead shift handovers and supervise new staff to ensure smooth handovers.
  • Build relationships with residents, families and external teams (GPs, District Nurses).
  • Assist residents with personal care and support independence with dignity.
