About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Please note this role is for 33 hours per week, requiring flexibility for days and nights. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, and engaging residents in social activities, always with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, document your work accurately, and foster strong team relationships. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The key qualities for success include positive energy, excellent communication, time management, and genuine kindness.
