This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. You will also be involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations, as well as supporting residents with their medication requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
