About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will plan and deliver care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence.You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness will be your guiding principle.Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and support residents' mental and physical well-being.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities.
Ideally, you'll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and effective time management are essential.
