Please note: This role is for Nights, 33 hours per week.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, always with kindness.
You will also support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. A background in person-centered care planning, knowledge of dementia care, and a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent) are preferred. The key qualities we seek are positive energy, excellent communication, time management, and kindness.
