About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time role working night shifts, 44 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories. By joining us, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your tasks may involve showing how to use mobility aids, assisting at end-of-life, or communicating with families, always with kindness.
You'll assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social activities and administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to work towards Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is preferred. What's essential is your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, and effective time management.
