About the Role

Your main focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and collaborate with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development where needed.
  • Serving as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated as necessary.
