About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help create personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and positively influence your team. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, your approach will be rooted in kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia. Your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and considerate communication are essential.
