As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of all you do. You will plan and provide care that supports security, dignity and independence for residents. You will get to know residents and their families to deliver personalised care plans. You will lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care, acting as a positive influence on the team. You may guide others in using mobility aids, support end-of-life meals and communicate with families. You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, contribute to physical and mental stimulation through activities, and may administer medication. We currently have full-time roles on day or night shifts. A key responsibility is maintaining accurate records and building strong relationships with the team. Essential qualifications include a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care, with progression towards Level 3 or equivalent, plus experience in person-centred care planning and dementia care. Strong communication, time management and a kind, considerate approach are essential.
