We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant. If this sounds like the right fit, we would love to hear from you!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your main focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of residents, noting any changes that impact care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with medication requirements.
  • Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
  • Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated appropriately.
ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
  • Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
