Job Opportunity: Senior Support Worker

We are offering a fantastic new job opportunity for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a recently opened, brand new nursing home in Liverpool, Merseyside. This role is with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This nursing home provides nursing, dementia, residential care, mental healthcare, and specialist learning disability services to its residents.

Minimum Qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

Key Duties:
  1. Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
  2. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
  3. Contribute to care planning and support worker coaching
  4. Promote services when engaging with relatives, prospective residents, and inquiries
  5. Update and write care plans and resident documentation
  6. Assess and report on residents' needs to ensure continuity of care
  7. Administer medication following policies and procedures
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in a care setting
  • Good team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Genuine desire to care for others
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £13.25 per hour, totaling approximately £24,804 annually. This is a permanent full-time position, working 36 hours per week on day shifts. Benefits include:
