ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
  • Supporting residents with medication management.
  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
  • Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns are escalated appropriately.
