Job description

As a Senior Care Assistant for Maria Mallaband Care Group, we ask you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.

We would love to hear from you if you have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Senior Care Giver, Homecare Worker, in Social Care or as a Community Support Worker. Furze Hill Lodge is a Tudor-style building based in Kingswood, Surrey, that has been purposefully converted to suit the needs of 29 residents, many of whom are elderly, some recovering from illness or injury.

Our successful candidate will have the following qualities and experience: Experience of leading a team. A committed and organised approach. A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible to work shifts.

Candidates must have their level 2, with Senior Care experience and be willing to complete their Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (if not already obtained) in order to be considered for this role. We offer our care staff flexible hours on full or part time basis over the 7 day week to offer a good work-life balance.
