Overview

Senior Carer - Days and Nights Positions — Location: Ipswich.

We are looking for Senior Carers to join our team, with both day and night positions available.

About the role

You'll be supporting residents in a 66-bed home that provides residential, dementia, respite, and end of life care. Seniors play a key part in leading the care team, making sure residents receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred support.

Shifts
  • Days: 07:00 - 21:00 (with a 1-hour paid break)

  • Nights: 21:00 - 07:00 (with a 1-hour paid break)

  • Seniors also attend handover 15 minutes before the shift (paid).

Pay rates
  • NVQ Level 4 equivalent: £15.07 per hour

  • NVQ Level 3 equivalent: £14.76 per hour

  • NVQ Level 2 (unqualified senior): £13.34 per hour

What we're looking for
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

  • Willingness to work towards Level 3 after probation

  • Previous experience in a senior carer or similar role is an advantage

  • A caring attitude and ability to lead a team
