An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to work in a care home based in the Ipswich, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care.

Key Duties
  • Responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy Manager.
  • Lead, facilitate, and participate in staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisals, and development activities.
  • Administer medication, carry out assessments, and care plans.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in providing care at a similar level.
  • Familiar and experienced in the safe administration of medication.
  • Committed to providing person-centred care to residents.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine desire to work in the care sector.
Benefits

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary up to GBP15.07 per hour and the annual salary is up to GBP28,211.04 per annum.
