Job summary

A leading care provider is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their team at Watford House in High Peak. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and an NVQ in Health & Social Care. You will manage care documentation and medication while providing compassionate care to residents. This role offers a competitive pay rate of £12.94 per hour and the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a supportive environment.

Nestled in the beautiful High Peak, Watford House is a warm and welcoming 36-bed care home offering high-quality Residential, Dementia and Respite care. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, homely environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day.

We are now looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you are ready to take the next step in your care career and lead by example, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.

What we offer:

  • £12.94 per hour
  • 36 hours per week (day shifts)
  • 5.6 weeks’ annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your role:
As Senior Care Assistant, you will lead and support your care team to deliver person-centred care with kindness and professionalism. You will manage shift coordination, medication administration, and care documentation while ensuring residents’ dignity, independence and well-being are always prioritised.
