Role and Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Nurse / Team Leader in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating residents' care needs.
  • Deliver hands-on personal care, leadership, and support to ensure high standards of person-centred care.
  • Motivate and supervise the care team, providing coaching, mentoring, and leadership support.
  • Maintain accurate records, including assessments, care plans, reviews, and evaluations.
  • Administer medication.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards of care and fostering a positive, safe work environment.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as a senior care worker in a similar setting is essential. Applications from care workers working towards SVQ Level 3 are welcome.
  • Professional, compassionate, motivated, and person-centred approach to care.
  • Leadership, motivation, and team development skills.
  • Organised, flexible, with excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Registered as a supervisor with the Scottish Social Services Council or willing to obtain registration.
  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 or higher in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent.
