Position Details

Senior Care Assistant

Salary: £12.75 - £14.34 per hour, dependent on experience

Shift Pattern: 12 Hour Day Shifts - Full Time/Part Time

Role Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant, you play a crucial role in our home. You will lead and inspire Care Assistants, ensuring high-quality, personal care for residents, and fostering a positive team environment. We will train you on our digital care systems, and provide ongoing clinical and social care development opportunities, making it an exciting time to join us.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily operations of a care unit
  2. Support clinical duties, including medication administration, care plan reviews, and record keeping
  3. Lead and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
  4. Support training and supervision of new staff members
  5. Build relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare teams
  6. Assist residents with personal care duties
Qualifications and Skills
  • Completed or working towards NVQ3 in care; support available for qualification completion
  • Motivated, positive, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a passion for making a difference
