Senior Care Assistant — £14.32 per hour plus company benefits. Full Time - Day Shifts.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Carer to be part of the care team looking after our residential and dementia residents. Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Be part of the care team looking after residential and dementia residents.
  • Provide supervisory support and mentorship to care assistants.
  • Assist with medication administration (with relevant qualification).
  • Promote choice, individuality and independence for residents at all times.
  • Support a culture of high-quality care and compliance with care standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards.
  • Supervisory experience and medication administration experience (with relevant qualification).
  • Experience as a mentor to care assistants.
  • 2 years\' previous experience gained from working with older people and people who experience dementia.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Carer is desirable.
