Job description

Our homes provide the right environment for our Senior Care Assistants to deliver the outstanding care our residents deserve. You’ll provide first-class care and contribute to the smooth running of our home, leading shifts in the absence of the Nurse. Each of our residents are unique and you’ll develop person-centred care plans to meet their individual mental, physical, social and emotional needs.

In this varied and fast-paced Senior Care Assistant role you’ll help lead, motivate and support colleagues using your knowledge and expertise to role model excellent standards of care. You’ll enjoy building positive relationships with colleagues, residents and their families and share our commitment to creating an inclusive culture, where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working with older adults in a residential or nursing setting. We provide 24-hour care, so you’ll need the flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekend working. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent would be an advantage, but isn’t essential as we can provide the opportunity to study towards this qualification.

Choose a career with us and join our friendly, committed and supportive team as a Senior Care Assistant, as part of the largest care provider in Hampshire.

This role may involve some nights, weekends and bank holidays working, for which enhancements are paid in line with the HCC salary policy.

Please note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and therefore it is essential that you already have the right to work in the UK before applying.
