About The Role: This is a full-time role working day shifts, 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required. Location: Woodthorpe Lodge, Loughborough LE11 2ER.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will: plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence; get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans; lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care; model kindness in all interactions, whether helping with mobility, supporting someone at the end of life, or communicating with a resident’s family. You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, support residents with physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication. One key responsibility is to maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with the team. You may also be involved in ensuring effective record keeping and time management across duties.
Ideal qualifications include a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (S/NVQ) and progression towards Level 3 or equivalent, plus a background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia care. Essential attributes are positive energy, the ability to get along with people, strong record-keeping skills, and effective time management. You will communicate with residents and colleagues with consideration and kindness.
