Job Title: Senior Care Assistant at HC One

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Tasks include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and supporting activities that stimulate residents physically and mentally, including medication administration.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining accurate records of care provided.
  2. Building strong relationships with team members.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia.
  • Positive energy and excellent communication skills.
  • Good record-keeping and time management skills.
