About The Role
Please note: This role is full time, 44 hours per week, working nights from 8pm to 8am on a seven-day rota.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining us, you'll have a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your tasks may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, always with kindness.
Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and maintain accurate records. A Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent) is preferred, along with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The key qualities we value are your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and genuine kindness in all interactions.
