Job Description - Senior Care Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Manley Court Bupa Care Home in London. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering person-centred care and supporting the independence of our residents.

You will be responsible for driving a team of Care Assistants and working with the Nurse to aid with clinical duties. You will have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care and have previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Running a unit and supporting with clinical duties
  • Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants
  • Helping with training and supervision of new staff members
  • Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams
  • Assisting residents with personal care duties
