About The Role
Please note that this position is working BANK only - as and when needed from 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Everyone who works here understands that our residents are people just like them, with their own stories. Joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
This means planning and implementing care that provides our residents with security, dignity, and independence.
You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring we deliver personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, helping at mealtime, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll help provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication.
One key responsibility is to maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships.
Ideally, you'll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. The most important qualities are positive energy, good record-keeping, effective time management, and kindness in communication.
