Senior Care Assistant - Westfield Nursing Home in Boston, Lincolnshire, Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 07:00-19:00)

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

As a Senior Care Assistant, you can make a real difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
  • Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
  • Supporting residents at mealtimes
  • Mentoring and assisting new employees
  • Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs
  • Planning, allocating, and supervising the work of care assistants

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone proactive, passionate, and ambitious to support us in creating the best person-centred environment for our residents. You will be a valued and empowered part of our team.

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant and team leadership
  • Friendly and caring attitude
  • Experience administering medication
  • Ability to engage well with residents and their families
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

You may have experience as a Senior Carer, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Older People, Nursing, Nurse, Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, NVQ Level 2 or 3, Nurse Assistant, or similar roles.
