What you’ll do
The Senior Care Assistant supports the delivery of high-quality care support services by conducting assessments, reviews, and supervising care workers. You will work with Care Coordinators to plan effective rotas, considering individual needs and worker skills. You will also review services, participate in multidisciplinary reviews, shadow new care workers, and evaluate care practices through on-site observations.
You will primarily work in the community but will also undertake some administrative tasks in the office.
What you’ll need
Experience in initial risk and needs assessments for service users in various settings, including homes, hospitals, or residential/nursing homes. Ability to work in partnership with service users, families, carers, healthcare professionals, and others to ensure holistic care support.
