As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care homes. Your role involves planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and positively influence your team. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
In collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will help provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities and administer medication.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to pursue Level 3 qualification. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Essential qualities include positive energy, excellent communication, time management, and kindness.
