A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a Cardiorespiratory Diagnostics Specialist to join their team. The role involves working across various diagnostic services, including cardiopulmonary exercise testing and lung function testing, with training provided based on experience. Candidates with a BSc in Clinical Physiology or relevant backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Flexibility in working hours is required due to the service's 12-hour shifts.
The CDC is part of a wider programme to reform and renew the delivery of diagnostics to meet increasing demand for services. CDCs facilitate patients having their diagnostic tests performed closer to home and within the local community. They operate 12 hours a day, seven days a week.

We are seeking a motivated individual to work in the cardiorespiratory diagnostics service at Mile End Hospital, with regular rotation to other sites. The successful candidate will work autonomously (training provided based on background experience) across the service, supporting various diagnostics including:
Applicants with a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) with a cardiology or respiratory specialization, or those from Cardiac or Respiratory Physiology backgrounds with relevant Exercise Science experience, will be considered.

The role involves supporting non-invasive cardiology and lung function services within the Trust. The service operates 12-hour shifts across 7 days, so flexibility in working hours is required. There will also be opportunities to participate in cardiopulmonary research, audits, and quality assurance projects. Training in cardiology or respiratory disciplines will be provided based on the candidate’s background, to develop skills across the spectrum of cardiorespiratory physiology services.
