Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior clinical psychologist with an interest in cardiac patients to join the Directorate of Psychology. The post supports delivering psychological interventions, including remote delivery where appropriate, to enhance patient wellbeing.

You will conduct 1:1 and group interventions for Lancashire Cardiac Centre, provide reflective practice and consultation, and participate in clinical supervision as both supervisor and supervisee.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical psychologist with an interest in cardiac patients.
• Experience delivering psychological interventions remotely.
• Ability to adapt practice to changing service needs.
• Experience collaborating with Cardiac Centre and Talking Therapies colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and group psychological interventions for patients under the Lancashire Cardiac Centre.
• Provide reflective practice and consultation sessions.
• Participate in clinical supervision as both supervisor and supervisee.
• Support development of new ways of working, e.g. Psychological Integration and Triage meeting model.
