Job summary

HealthJobs Ltd seeks a Band 7 Cardiac Physiologist to join the NHS Cardiac Physiology team in West Bromwich. The role involves undertaking catheter lab procedures, device management, and PPCI on-call duties in a full-time, 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• BHRS accreditation is essential.
• NHS Cardiac Physiology experience, especially in Cardiac Catheter Labs.
• Proficiency with pacemakers, ICD and CRT devices, with ability to supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cardiac Catheter Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Participate in PPCI on-call services.
• Manage pacemaker implantations and follow-up clinics.
• Carry out ICD/CRT device follow-ups and remote monitoring.
• Lead Tilt Table Tests and Exercise Tolerance Tests.
• Supervise and train junior staff within the Cardiac Physiology team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
