Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants, and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. Through our work, we make a positive difference in the world.
Decarbonization can apply to a nation, a region, a city, a district, an organization, an infrastructure asset, a building, or a product. We work with our clients to help them understand and minimize their impacts by preparing baselines and net zero strategies and targets, developing whole life cycle reduction pathways, and supporting implementation. This can involve devising new policies, innovative business models, introducing new technology, training, and cultural programs to accelerate and manage the complexity presented by the transition.
Shaped by our engineering heritage and informed by our wide range of complementary technical skills, we offer rigorous environmental assessments and management practices to inform and communicate a clear understanding of environmental issues and opportunities.
