The Role: Senior Capital Projects Manager

Location: London base / National Coverage (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Bonus

I am working with a leading operator in the live entertainment sector to find a Senior Capital Projects Manager.

This role provides strategic leadership and oversees capital projects across diverse venues. The ideal candidate will be experienced in project management, procurement, and compliance, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to high standards. You will collaborate with senior leadership to shape property strategies and deliver exceptional facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and delivery of capital works, ensuring compliance with fire safety, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
• Develop technical briefs and scope of work for consultants and contractors, ensuring solid contractual agreements.
• Oversee project delivery focusing on risk management, stakeholder engagement, and value engineering.
• Manage multiple high-profile projects aligned with business goals.
• Line manage a Project Manager, providing mentorship and professional development.
• Manage project budgets and financial planning, ensuring cost control.
• Generate reports for senior leadership on project progress, finances, and risks.
• Ensure governance and accountability at all project levels.
• Work with internal teams and external partners, including landlords and legal teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, managing changes effectively.
• Conduct impact assessments and scenario planning for potential disruptions.

Experience & Technical Skills

• Proven project management experience in property, facilities, or engineering sectors.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 required; RICS desirable.
• Experience managing multi-site, complex capital projects.
• Expertise in MEP projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of property compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience implementing structured processes and governance.
• Familiarity with project management tools and procurement practices.
