Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a post holder to oversee the Cancer Pharmacy service within the Oncology and Haematology Directorate. You will work with senior clinicians to ensure safe, effective and sustainable delivery of Cancer Pharmacy and SACT pathways.

Responsibilities include day-to-day operational management, governance, workforce planning and recruitment, capacity management, financial oversight and data analysis, with line management of designated staff.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience, Acute operational management experience, in a complex organisation
• Minimum of three years of experience in the NHS
• Experience of supporting or leading service improvement and change initiatives
• Experience of workforce management, Understanding of information governance and data quality requirements, Ability to analyse complex information
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to operational challenges

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of Cancer Pharmacy services across the Oncology and Haematology Directorate
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, capacity management, and service improvement initiatives
• Manage governance, financial oversight, data analysis and contract/supplier management
• Collaborate with senior clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, operational managers and external providers to support patient pathways and homecare
• Contribute to directorate planning, service strategy and national/local objectives
