Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Camunda Architect with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise to design, build, and scale enterprise workflow and business process automation solutions. You will own end-to-end Camunda deployments (7 and/or 8/Zeebe) from BPMN/DMN modelling to microservices integration, while remaining hands-on to unblock complex integration and performance issues.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Camunda-based workflow platforms.
• Expertise in Camunda 7 and/or Camunda 8 (Zeebe) deployments.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Ability to work in hybrid model blending office/site/home.
• Ability to guide engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Experience with BPMN/DMN modelling standards.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Camunda architecture and deployment topology.
• Design reference architectures for process orchestration and event-driven integration.
• Lead migration from legacy BPM to Camunda 7/8, including cutover planning.
• Review process models and Java/Spring Boot service code for architectural consistency and performance.
• Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices integrating Camunda with enterprise systems.
