In an exciting period of development, South Cumbria CYPMH is currently recruiting a full-time Band 6 Senior CYPMH Practitioner.

We are seeking a registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with previous post-registration experience to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work with children, young people (up to age 18), and their families; experience working with children and young people is advantageous.

Our service is busy and friendly, offering various treatment approaches including CBT, EMDR, and Decision Skills Workshops. We also collaborate closely with partner agencies.

We are committed to the ongoing professional development of our staff and offer opportunities to participate in various training initiatives.

The working hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates must be passionate about working with children and young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a broad range of services, including secondary mental health care, inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services, including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also offers physical health and well-being services in the community, working alongside various partners across Lancashire, Cumbria, and Sefton.
