Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust in the South Essex area is recruiting a Senior CAMHS Practitioner to join SET CAMHS. You will work within the Thrive Model and MDT to assess and treat young people and their families, providing supervision and guidance to colleagues.

The role involves leading therapy delivery, mentoring staff, and developing innovative approaches aligned with NICE guidance to improve outcomes for children and adolescents with mental health difficulties.

Qualifications

• Experience with adolescent mental health.
• Knowledge of Thrive Model and NICE guidance.
• Experience supervising others and mentoring.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies for CAMHS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual therapy within the Thrive Model per NICE guidance.
• Contribute to MDT discussions and supervise junior staff as needed.
• Support the wider clinical team through teaching and mentoring.
• Develop innovative strategies to support young people and families.
