Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join the Selby CAMHS team. The role involves managing a complex caseload, delivering specialist OT interventions, and contributing to service development within a multidisciplinary environment.

You will work with ADHD and autism-related needs, emphasising sensory processing and COPRODUCTIVE approaches, while aligning with Trust values and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Registered occupational therapist with current HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate training in a relevant specialist area.
• Experience delivering OT in CAMHS or mental health settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals for occupational therapy and prioritise caseload.
• Conduct evidence-based assessments and interventions focusing on self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Co-produce goals with service users and families; participate in supervision and MDT work.
• Lead on service improvement and quality initiatives; use electronic patient records.
