Job summary

Main duties of the job

As a CAMHS Nurse /Practitioner you will be responsible for providing full assessments, formulation and evidence based interventions to children, young people and their families, who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

You will be responsible for maintaining an individual caseload, from referral to discharge, conducting routine and high priority assessments and interventions as appropriate and exercising autonomy.

You will be liaising and providing advice, information and consultation to colleagues and other agencies as well as undertaking service governance activity, including research and audit as appropriate.

Successful candidates will provide regular and ongoing consultation, joint work, training and advice to other professionals in relation to child and adolescent mental health to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
