Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust invites a clinician to join Tower Hamlets CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team. You will deliver evidence-based episodes of care to young people with learning disability within a diverse community, working alongside psychiatry, nursing, psychology and allied staff.

The role emphasises professional autonomy, audit and appraisal, with opportunities to contribute to group programmes including ASC assessment clinics and Positive Behaviour Support interventions.

Qualifications

• Qualification in mental health/social welfare profession and registration.
• Evidence of CPD in keeping with qualification period.
• Experience in CAMHS and/or Learning Disability services.
• Experience with safeguarding and risk assessment.
• Experience with multi-ethnic communities and interpreters.
• Ability to supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care and assessments to young people with learning disability.
• Deliver assessments and treatments in a MDT setting within CAMHS neurodevelopmental team.
• Contribute to group programmes and ASC assessment clinics.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to audit outcomes.
