Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust's SET CAMHS West team is seeking an experienced clinician to lead assessment and treatment for children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will work with families, across education, social care and hospitals, and contribute to safety planning and outcome measurement.

The post involves line and clinical supervision, collaboration with the CAMHS manager and clinical leads, and developing innovative NICE-based interventions across services.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff within CAMHS teams.
• Delivery of NICE concordant interventions for children/young people.
• Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD and autism.
• Good collaboration across family and multi-system partners.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and measure outcomes for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
• Provide line and clinical supervision to staff within the team.
• Develop and implement NICE-based interventions with families and schools.
• Coordinate with CAMHS manager and clinical leads on service delivery.
• Work with education, social care, acute hospitals and carers.
