Job summary

Energis Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive transitioning from design to production in a high-precision manufacturing environment. You will develop machining strategies, design tooling and fixtures, and push continuous improvement across operations.

The role involves offline CNC programming, tooling selection, cost estimation support, and close collaboration with Production, Quality, Engineering and external suppliers to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing Engineering or CAM programming.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience creating process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and simulate offline CNC programs for high-precision components.
• Program 3- to 5-axis CNC machinery.
• Select tooling packages and cutting strategies.
• Collaborate with tooling manufacturers on new technologies.
• Create setup sheets and detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Improve methods to reduce cycle time and cost.
• Troubleshoot machining/process issues to improve efficiency.
