Job summary

First Derivative, an EPAM Systems company, is expanding its Calypso practice and seeking experienced Calypso Developers to join high-profile transformation programmes in global capital markets.

Calypso is a large-scale trading platform spanning front-to-back operations; you will work on greenfield implementations, upgrades, and transformations with teams across EMEA, North America and APAC.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Calypso Developer on implementation, upgrade or transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Calypso solutions across the full trade lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations and Technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support greenfield implementations, version upgrades and transformation initiatives across global markets.
• Integrate Calypso with external systems via APIs, messaging and batch processing.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Partner with teams across EMEA, North America and APAC to deliver in fast-paced programmes.
• Provide technical expertise on the Calypso object model and architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across trading, risk and post-trade processes.
