About Our Client

The client is an established ISO17025 accredited calibration laboratory supporting clients in regulated and technical sectors. This is an exciting time to join the organization ahead of a growth phase.

Job Description

As a Senior Calibration Engineer, you will support with:

  • Calibration of precision equipment in a fast-paced ISO17025 laboratory
  • Development of result sheets, including measurement tolerances and uncertainty budgets for client reporting
  • Identifying and developing new calibration activities, methods, and equipment to enhance capabilities and services
  • Meeting quick-turnaround deadlines for key client projects while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Supervising and mentoring colleagues, supporting, and deputizing for the site lead as needed
The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced ISO17025 accredited laboratory
  • Knowledge and experience with precision measurement equipment, including calibration and adjustments
  • Strong understanding of working within an ISO17025 environment
  • A proactive attitude supporting ad-hoc tasks to ensure timely, accurate results
  • A degree, HND, or equivalent in engineering, sciences, or related fields

The role is based on-site in Dorset, working five days a week (Monday to Friday).
