Job description

Working Monday – Friday, 37 hours/week

What You Will Do:
  1. Calibrate a diverse range of precision measurement instruments and test equipment with efficiency and accuracy.
  2. Support and mentor less experienced engineers, ensuring adherence to UKAS and calibration standards.
  3. Develop and refine result sheets, including measurement tolerances and uncertainty budgets.
  4. Identify and implement new calibration methods, activities, and equipment to enhance the company’s capabilities.
  5. Meet deadlines while delivering high-quality service to customers.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and senior managers to ensure seamless operations.
What You Will Bring:
  1. A degree or HND (or equivalent) in electronics, engineering, metrology, sciences, or a related discipline.
  2. Proven experience working to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
  3. Experience in quality engineering.
  4. Desirable experience in calibrating small measuring tools and gauges.
  5. Manual CMM operation and inspection experience is beneficial.
  6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.
