Job summary

UK Research and Innovation at Babraham Research Campus seeks a supervising role in the Cage Wash area to oversee a small team delivering essential animal facility support services. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure high hygiene standards, and coordinate cage delivery across the building.

The role requires leadership experience, GCSE-level education, and a willingness to train on equipment such as autoclaves and lifting gear.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a team and developing strong working relationships.
• Experience of maintaining high levels of hygiene for safe environments.
• Ability to work independently and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and cover day-to-day running of cage wash and service technicians.
• Communicate daily with Senior Service Support Manager and Supervisor.
• Deliver and collect animal cages across the building.
