The role

• Provision of technical advice to colleagues or clients
• Production of high quality plans for public consultation or inquiry
• Production of drawings/diagrams or data for colleagues or clients
• Undertake on site measurements and collect associated data to inform design work
• Review and assess new advances in relevant technology
• Comply with all operational requirements and systems

About you

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious CAD Technician, with:

• Experience developing preliminary highway schemes, the design of priority junctions, signal controlled junctions and roundabouts to relevant design standards
• Knowledge of car park layout design / multi storey car park design including access ramps to relevant guidance
• Knowledge of cycle scheme design (LTN-1-20 / CD145 / LCDS)
• Expert use of AutoCAD software
• Expert use of Vehicle Tracking software
• Experience using additional software packages is advantageous (Civil 3D, Map 3D, Keylines, Keysigns)
