Formula One is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to support circuit engineering by maintaining, updating and standardising AutoCAD drawing assets. You will manage XREFs, integrate LiDAR data and ensure accurate infrastructure records for race planning and operations.

Based at the Media & Technology Centre in Biggin Hill, this role focuses on high-quality drafting, strict document control and collaboration with engineers to reflect ongoing infrastructure developments.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in creating, editing and maintaining AutoCAD drawings and XREFs.
• Ability to create and manage dynamic blocks within AutoCAD.
• Attention to detail in producing accurate technical drawings.
• Good collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.
• Experience with LiDAR, survey data and CAD libraries is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, update and standardise AutoCAD XREFs for circuit engineering.
• Produce and deliver race drawing XREFs for planning and infrastructure.
• Update drawing packages with latest information and as-built data.
• Utilise LiDAR point cloud data to enhance CAD datasets.
• Develop CAD blocks and drafting resources to improve efficiency.
• Ensure drawings are clear for digital and print use.
• Maintain filing systems and document control for drawing assets.
• Collaborate with circuit engineers to reflect latest developments.
