Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a senior hands-on production BIM/CAD specialist with proven expertise in Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to transform design data into client-ready deliverables. You will work with engineers, surveyors and project teams to convert survey data and existing-condition data into accurate 3D models and robust drawings.

The ideal candidate has experience in asset data workflows, BIM coordination, and standards compliance, including ISO 19650.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Bentley/OpenRoads and BIM modeling experience.
• Strong Civil 3D and AutoCAD workflow knowledge.
• Experience delivering CAD/BIM on infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD drawings and 3D models using Bentley OpenRoads and Civil 3D.
• Develop coordinated BIM deliverables from design drawings and survey data.
• Produce surfaces, alignments, corridors, and construction documentation.
• Create existing-condition models from LiDAR scans and point clouds.
• Translate 2D drawings into coordinated 3D models with design intent.
• Incorporate survey data, point clouds, LiDAR, and GIS data into CAD/BIM models.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to meet standards.
• Maintain version control and deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Job Description

This is a senior, hands‑on production role for a Bentley Systems specialist with proven expertise in creating CAD models and asset data, together with strong Autodesk Civil 3D and BIM workflow experience. The successful candidate will work with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to transform design information, survey data, and existing‑condition data into reliable, client‑ready deliverables.

What You Will Do

• Create and maintain detailed civil engineering drawings (CAD) and 3D models using Bentley Systems base open roads and Open budlings , strong fumiler with Civil 3d and AutoCAD.
• Develop coordinated BIM deliverables from design drawings, survey data, as-built documentation, and other project inputs.
• Produce surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading models, pipe networks, sections, and construction documentation.
• Create existing-condition models from LiDAR scans and registered point clouds, where applicable.
• Translate 2D engineering drawings into coordinated 3D models, working directly with designers to capture design intent.
• Utilities & Existing Conditions: Incorporate survey data, point clouds, and subsurface utility information into models, with an understanding of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) practices and exposure to standards such as PAS128 (UK) or ASCE 38-22 (US).
• Update models and drawings throughout the project lifecycle and maintain clear version control.
• Develop and improve templates, standards, object libraries, and repeatable modeling workflows.
• Coordinate model exchanges and resolve data‑quality issues with multidisciplinary contributors.
• Manage assigned tasks independently and deliver high‑quality work within project schedules.

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, and BIM modeling, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with knowledge of OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) or Revit considered an advantage.
• Proven ability to develop accurate 2D drawings and coordinated 3D BIM modelsfrom engineering, survey, and existing‑condition data.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, survey information, coordinate systems, spatial data, and model setup.
• Experience delivering BIM/CAD work within ProjectWise environments, including structured workflows and client standards.
• Understanding of BIM standards and delivery requirements, including ISO 19650, BEPs, and client specifications.
• Experience with infrastructure projects such as roads, railways, drainage, utilities, land development, or major structures.
• Strong QA/QC, attention to detail, problem‑solving, and ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, multidisciplinary project teams, and clients, with good technical English.
• Experience incorporating survey data, point clouds, LiDAR, laser scans, or GISdata into CAD/BIM models is an advantage.

Significant Advantages

• Experience with scan-to-BIM / point-cloud-to-CAD workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) and 3D MEP modeling.
• Proficiency in ReCap, Revit, InfraWorks, Navisworks, or similar tools.
• Experience developing CAD/BIM standards, templates, automation, or production workflows.
